You are a Flower created to grow (Dedicated to Rona)

Here’s a picture
Of something broken
Pieces all over the place
As if something of value has been stolen
Mom
You are not a failure
Let me tell you
God is there
When your children fail you
Sometimes there are things
That are beyond us
Stressing us
Are the things that’s upon us
Raising a child that isn’t yours
Working to pay the bills
Giving of yourself so much
Yet, you have your own wounds that need to heal
Pondering over decisions you’ve made
Waiting for the answer to prayers you’ve prayed
Thinking the problems would leave
Just to find out they’ve stayed
But the sun will come out
Because it has to
It’s in the script
And so are laughs too
God created laughter
To remove all the sadness
He allows us to have problems
To show us he’s full of gladness
All we have to do is go in his direction
And if we go in his direction
We will get to know him
And learn of his protection
While he shows you his affection
As you learn of his love learn
Rona I don’t know if you heard it lately
But God loves and watches you from above
All of us were born as a child
All of us were born with no worries
We didn’t have to pay for our food
Because someone paid for the groceries
But as we became adults
Life began to change and twist
Life struggles began to cause emptiness
The desire of love became on our list
Not having someone to show love
Can hurt deep like a root canal
This world can be so filthy
And so easy to corrupt a good child
Some live dangerous
Some live wild
Some were so sweet and quiet
So many have become sneaky and proud
The violence of young men
The faultiness of young ladies
Children had more respect for themselves
In the 90’s and 80’s
Yet, hope is not foreign
Hope is not over
All children need
Is love and someone’s shoulder
The emotions
The tears
The trust issues
The fears
The peer pressure
From other students friends and peers
The first step of action
Is to monitor who’s in your children’s ears
Bad influences are forbidden
We have to check our children’s liven
If they want something
Something must be required before something’s given
After all
That’s what parents taught back in the day
Back in the day
Was when parents used to pray
Parents want obedient children
And children want parents who make time
If that child had some of their parents time
Many won’t turn to a life of crime
Some children
Are known by the company they keep
Some children can’t handle the peer pressure
Therefore they become naive and weak
Those who commit bad or unacceptable things
Have a tendency to recruit others
These become cheating lovers
Making young ladies baby mothers
Many children have low self-esteem
So they blame the white man
But colors don’t mean nothing
Because a white man doesn’t control his lifespan
God controls life
He created different flowers
He created different colors
It’s not the white man, it’s God who has the power
Before the white man or black man existed
God was already alive
Anyone can be great
They just have to strive
It’s ok to be apart
Of something that’s of good intentions
Always read the fine small print of a group
To discover its true intentions
Love is so powerful
That babies don’t care how their parents even look
It’s the content of the pages and chapters
Not about the cover of the book
All people are not the same
Just like the faces on dollars and coins
There are white people on the front of money
If my group were money rich would you decline to join?
Life can be
Whatever we choose to make it
If a good opportunity comes for a blue man
It’s good wisdom just to take it
Just like Ice-cream comes in different flavors
Yet it’s all called ice-cream
The same goes for us although we’re all different colors
But we are still all human, and a type of flavored ice-cream
We have to be the ones to stop the madness
And break the barriers of separation
Families have forgotten about giving love
As if they have no relation
But the people need us
So let’s let love lead us
I suggest to all parents
That we need the church to feed us
Because the world and people know how to bleed us
The Bible and a Pastor we need in our lives
To show us the word of God and teach us
We were all born with a purpose
Outside of our work and jobs
I mean, after all
How does our Job give glory to God?
There is a purpose for you my friend
And his purpose isn’t always the convenient
All of our lives get crowded at times
But we can’t procrastinate on cleaning it
There’s someone waiting on us
To get to the place where God wants us to be
God chooses where he wants us to grow
It may be the opposite of what I’d choose for me
When we find ourselves making little progress
We have to do something different
We have to change directions toward a way that works
If our own choices and way isn’t
Why not
What do we have to lose
Sis I want to encourage you
Visit churches until God shows you where to stay
And stay planted, be faithful and do not leave
How can a plant or flower grow?
If it never stays planted in the ground long enough?
Plants and flowers grow among thousands of others
Was that example good enough?
Flowers grow to become so beautiful
Despite all the others around them
Before they can begin to grow as a seed
The farmer must first plant and ground them
The seed doesn’t have the option
To choose which ground and foundation
Growing is the most important thing about church
Not family settings and close relation
The other plants are trying to grow
So they don’t have time to worry about others
They must grow so that they become leaders
While they fellowship with other sisters and brothers
The church is the foundation
Where growth begins to happen
A church that has the Spirit of God
Not a church where folks are nappin

It doesn’t matter how big or how small
Because you are still important in God’s eyes
It’s about the love God has for you
Not congregation family, that’s not the prize
No matter who over looks you
God will always be there
Even when people turn their back
For you, God always cares
We go to church to learn
Not to socialize
We can always spend time with our brothers and sisters
Going to church to grow is very wise
I know people who love the small setting
But they were meant to be somewhere else
They thought God was pleased
But God wanted them someplace else
The Bible says that we plan out our lives
But the answer of the tongue belongs to the Lord
Hey, he knows what’s best for us
So I hope is desire is yours
I invite you and your daughter to visit my church
I know that you’ll love the teaching
The ministry will help you grow
You will be blessed by the Gospel preaching
Nothing happens for no reason
It’s no coincidence we met this busy season
This may change everything
We have church Sunday morning and Wednesday evening
God is your strength to grow
Always remember that you're a flower
When you feel sad and weak Rona
His spirit will give you power

You were created to shine for others
So that they can meet the God you serve
Many people do not know him
And his name they have not heard
You are one of the nicest co-workers
Among so many others
I felt to reach out to you
I am a keeper of my sisters and brothers
God keeps us all
He ultimatly cares about you the most
God lead me to write this
As a dedication to you, I post
I want you to keep your head up
And know that someone cares
I will be praying for you and your daughter
As your co-worker and friend, I’m always here

QUOTE OF THE MONTH:

Men and women don't quit... Men and women keep fighting until they win!
BIBLE SCRIPTURE:
Psalms 138:13-18
13. You (God) Created me completly; you knit me together
in my mother's womb.
14. I praise you because I am impressively and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that for sure.
15. My frame was not hidden from you (You were there the whole time) when
I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth (From the dust of the ground)
16. Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were witten in your book
before my first breath came to be.
17. Your thoughts about me are precious, O God! There are many of them.
18. If I were to count the number of good thoughts you have about me,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
